White oak veneer is a thin layer of white oak wood, typically around 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch thick, that is used to cover and enhance the appearance of various surfaces, such as furniture, cabinetry, and interior walls. It is obtained by slicing or peeling thin sheets from the trunk of the white oak tree (Quercus alba), a hardwood species native to North America.
